Donald Trump-A hundred percent the wall is built
Welp, Donald Trump (The Donald) can’t stop lying about that border wall getting built. On Tuesday, during a meeting with farmers, the Donald told the press that the border wall will be built. He said, “The wall gets built, 100 percent.”
Due to the fact that the threat of a government shutdown looms if the Donald pushes for the American people, and not Mexico, to pay for the wall, the chances of the wall being built anytime “soon” or in the future are slim to none.
The Republicans warned The Donald that pushing for Congress to fund the wall will not go over too well with the American people.
Specifically, folks living on the border who risk losing their homes and lands if the government comes in and enforces eminent domain in order to build the border wall.
The Donald, however, is pushing back. He told the press that the wall will be built because it is going to “Make America Great Again” by helping to stop the influx of drugs and human trafficking coming into the United States.
The Donald said, “In case anybody has any question, the wall’s gonna get built and the wall is gonna stop drugs and it’s gonna stop a lot of people from coming in that shouldn’t be here. And it’s gonna have a huge effect on human trafficking, which is a tremendous problem in this world. A problem that nobody talks about.”
The Donald told folks that they have been given the wrong information by “the pundits in the morning” who have no idea “what they’re talking about” when it comes to the border wall being built.
“I mean I don’t know what people are talking. I watch these shows and the pundits in the morning. They don’t know what they’re talking about,” is what The Donald said.
And for those wondering, the morning pundits The Donald is most likely referring to are CNN’s “New Day” hosts Alisyn Camerota and Chris Cuomo as well as MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough.
